3 semester hours, 2 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week. Specific approaches to applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), subsidized by Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and remote sensing, to problems in natural resource analysis.

GIS 464/564 Mobile and Field GIS |
3 semester hours. GIS data management with focus on building geodatabase and field mapping and inventory using mobile GPS/GIS devices. Students will be working on projects related to GIS data collection and processing using GIS/GPS.
