Background: Dr. Duben became Dean of the College of Sciences
and Mathematics in August 2005 and served in that capacity through
July 2010. He remains a professor in the Department of Chemistry.
He came to SFASU from Southeast Missouri
State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where he was Professor and
Chairman of the Computer Science Department from 1999 - 2005 and Associate
Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics from 1994 - 1999. He
is now Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at Southeast Missouri State.
Dr. Duben earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics in 1966 from Marquette
University in Milwaukee and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in 1970 from Pennsylvania
State University.
